Aurora Apps / Daniel Steel ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our mobile applications (the "Apps").

  • Application Logs: We use Firebase to collect app performance logs, crash reports, and general analytics.
  • Key Identifiers: We may store encrypted and securely stored unique identifiers to enable core app functionality.

1.2. Location & Weather Data

Drop The Top requires access to location and weather data to provide accurate forecasts and the “Roof Down” index for your area and route. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, but this will limit the app's functionality.

1.3. Third-Party Services

The Apps may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Firebase for analytics and logging, weather data providers). These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

2. How We Use Your Information

The limited data we collect is used to:

  • Maintain and improve app performance.
  • Diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
  • Ensure secure authentication and app integrity.
  • Provide accurate weather and route-based forecasts for your location.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • We use Firebase to securely store app logs and key identifiers.

4. User Rights & Control

Since we do not store personal user data, we do not provide account deletion requests. If you wish to remove any locally stored data, you can uninstall the App.
