Padel Forever Privacy Policy

Aurora Apps / Daniel Steel ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Padel Forever app (the "App") handles information when you use it on your iPhone and Apple Watch.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Our Approach

Padel Forever is built to keep your data private. The App has no user accounts and does not show advertising, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not sell your data. The match content you create is stored locally on your devices. The App does send a limited amount of diagnostic and install information to the services described in sections 5 and 6.

2. Information the App Stores on Your Device

The following information is created and stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch, and is never sent to us:

  • Match data: scores, player and team names, match format, location and notes you enter, and match history.
  • Shot and motion data: swing calibration profiles and shot counts derived from your Apple Watch's motion sensors.
  • Fitness metrics: match duration, active energy, heart rate, and distance recorded during a match.
  • Video recordings and the score or highlight markers associated with them.

This data is synced between your own Apple Watch and iPhone using Apple's device connectivity. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

3. Health & Fitness Data

With your permission, the App uses Apple HealthKit to record your match as a workout and to read metrics such as heart rate, active energy, and distance. This data stays on your device and within Apple Health. We do not access, store, or transmit your Health data, and the App does not use Health data for advertising or share it with third parties. You can manage or revoke HealthKit access at any time in the Settings app under Privacy & Security > Health.

4. Camera & Microphone

If you choose to record a match, the App uses your iPhone's camera and microphone to capture video. These recordings are saved locally in the App and are never uploaded to us. You can grant or revoke camera and microphone access at any time in your device's Settings. Whatever you subsequently do with a recording — for example sharing it — is under your control.

5. Crash Reporting & Performance Diagnostics

To find and fix bugs and crashes, the App uses Sentry, a third-party diagnostics service. When the App crashes or for a small sample of sessions, Sentry receives technical diagnostic data such as the crash stack trace, device model, OS version, app version, and performance timing. This data is used solely to keep the App stable and is not used for advertising or sold. Sentry processes it on our behalf under its own privacy terms (sentry.io/privacy).

6. Install & Usage Analytics

The first time you launch the App, it sends a one-time install notification containing your device model, OS version, country/region, language, and a randomly generated install identifier (not your name, Apple ID, or advertising identifier). We use this only to understand install volume. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or tracking.

7. Data Storage & Security

  • All App data, including recordings, is stored locally on your devices.
  • Because your match content is not sent to our servers, it is only as accessible as your device and any backups you choose to make (for example via iCloud or encrypted device backups, which are governed by Apple's privacy practices).

8. User Rights & Control

We do not hold an account for you. The diagnostic and install data above is not linked to your identity. You remain in full control of the match data on your device — you can delete individual matches and recordings in the App, and uninstalling removes locally stored data.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
